From Barajas Airport
By Subway: In the airport Terminal, take Line 8 (pink) towards Nuevos Ministerios. At Nuevos Ministerios change to line 6 (grey) towards Cuatro Caminos. Get off at Cuatro Caminos and take line 2 (red) towards Ventas and get off at the stop for Sol, exit C/Carretas. It takes approximately 45 minutes.
By Taxi: The trip takes about half and hour if traffic is not too heavy. The cost should be approximately 25€, in addition to airport fees and may also vary at night or on holidays. You can see the official fees on the windows of all taxi cabs.

From Atocha Train Station
By Subway: In the Atocha Train Station, take subway Line 1 (light blue) towards Plaza Castilla and get off at the stop for Sol, exit C/Carretas. It takes about 10 minutes.
By Taxi: At the exit of the train station, there are taxi stops. The trip takes about 10 or 15 minutes, depending on the traffic. There is an extra fee charged for pick up from the train station that is approximately 6€, in addition to extra fees for night trips.
From Chamartin Train Station
By Subway: In Chamartin Station, take subway line 10 (dark blue) towards Puerta del Sur and get off at Plaza Castilla. At Plaza Castilla, take line 1 (light blue) towards Congosto and get off at Sol, exit C/Carretas. It takes about 15 or 20 minutes.
By Taxi: At the exit of the train station, there are taxi stops. The trip takes about 20 minutes and can cost around 12€. There is an extra fee charged for pick up from the train station and for night trips.
From Estación Sur Bus Station (Mendez Alvaro)
By Subway: In the bus station take subway line 6 (grey) and get off at the stop for Pacifico. Change to line 1 (light blue) towards Plaza Castilla and get off at Sol, exit C/Carretas. It takes about 15 minutes.
By Taxi: The trip takes about 15 minutes, depending on the traffic and can cost around 12€. There is an extra fee charged for pick up from the station and for night trips.
From Auto-Res Bus Station (Conde Casal)
By Subway: In the bus station take line 6 (grey) and get off at the stop for Pacifico. Then take line 1 (light blue) towards Plaza Castilla and get off at Sol, exit C/Carretas. It takes approximately 15 minutes.
By Taxi: The trip takes about 15 or 20 minutes and the cost is approximately 15€. There is an extra fee charged for pick up from the station and for night trips. Check the window of the taxi cab for the stickers with fares.
From IFEMA fairgrounds
By Subway: The name of the stop for IFEMA is “Campo de las Naciones” and is line 8 (pink). Take this line to Nuevos Ministerios and get off. Change lines to line 6 (grey) to Cuatro Caminos and then change to line 2 (red) towards Ventas and get off at the stop for Sol, exit C/Carretas. It takes about 35 minutes.
By Taxi: The trip takes 25 or 30 minutes, but varies a lot depending on traffic. The cost is approximately 18-20 €. There is no extra charge for pick up at IFEMA.
